October 3 - 13 • Teatro Paraguas presents Elliot: A  Soldier's Fugue, by Quiara Alegría Hudes, 
                         the first play in the Elliot Trilogy; the second, Water By The Spoonful, opens Oct 3, and is produced by                              Ironweed Productions; the third and final play in the trilogy, The Happiest Song Plays Last, opens Oct 10                          and is produced by The Santa Fe Playhouse.

October 12 • Teatro Paraguas presents a poetry reading with Barbara Rockman, Renny Golden, and John Macker, 
                       3 p.m.  Free will donation at the door 

October 15 • Teatro Paraguas celebrates National Poetry Day Tuesday, October 15, 2019
                        Come and read your own or your favorite poet’s work, 3 minute Max.  Sign up at 12:10 PM Reading at                                12:30 PM  contact:  MC Hannah S Wiseheart, Poet, Santa Fe Trails Chapter, New Mexico State Poetry                                Society.  Free will donation at the door 

October 19 •  Teatro Paraguas presents Divining Bernhardt   Saturday at 2:00 PM  Tickets $20 general; $15 sen/stud
                        A One-Woman Comedy Written and Performed by Bridget Kelly. The biographical clock is ticking for                                      wallflower scholar Phoebe Wainwright who is desperate to complete her life's work based on troubled and                            charismatic 19th Century stage diva-Sarah Bernhardt. Bernhardt offers Phoebe a front row seat on a wild                              and intimate ride - bestowing the interview of a lifetime. 

October 21 • Teatro Paraguas presents a staged reading of Parted Waters, by Robert F. Benjamin, 7:30 p.m.

October 24 - 27 • Companía Chuscales y Mina Fajardo present Monet's Moon- A Flamenco Tribute, 7:00 p.m.

October 27 • Teatro Paraguas presents a poetry reading with Kristin Berger, Jean Fogel Zee, and Deborah Casillas 
                     7:00 pm in our "Second Space."


November 1-3 •  Teatro Paraguas presents El Dia de los Muertos, 6th Annual Day of The Dead Community Celebration
                         Friday, November 1 at 7:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday, November 2 & 3, 2:00 pm.  Free will donation at
                         the door; kids 12 and under free.

November 3 •  Teatro Paraguas presenta reading of Volver Volver Volver, a play by New Mexico playwright Leonard                              Madrid  5:00 pm; free will donation at door.  A young man who led a fast and reckless life is called back                                 from the dead by an unknown bruja in Portales, and finds the inner peace which eluded him in life. 

November 4  •  New Mexico State Poetry Society presents an Open-mic, 6:00 p.m. signup, 6:30 p.m. readings

November 7 - 9 • Teatro Paraguas presents Tales of Tila7:30 pm; $25 general admission; $20 seniors/students
                            A biographical One Woman Musical based on the writings of Actress/Singer/Songwriter
                            and former Taosena, Carolyn Chatwin Murset's lively Grandma, Tila Miera Trujillo's, life during the first                                  half of the 20th Century in Taos, New Mexico.  Tickets: 

November 9 • Teatro Paraguas presents Doug Mellard, stand up comedian from Los Angeles.  7:30 pm.  Tickets $10 by                             calling 424-1601 and choosing "upcoming events" after Oct 14th

November 15 - 24 •  Teatro Paraguas presents  Puss in Boots (El Gato con Botas)  $5.00 for all ages.
                            Saturdays at 6:00 pm; Sundays at 2:00 pm; weekday shows for school groups
